The Meridian Room offers a private, polished setting for celebrations, meetings, and special gatherings. From birthdays and retirement parties to holiday events, business functions, and intimate wedding receptions, the space accommodates up to 35 guests for a seated meal.

Designed to feel comfortable and distinctive, the Meridian Room features a baby grand piano, large saltwater aquarium, private restrooms, and high-speed Wi-Fi exclusively for your guests. A 56-inch flat-screen television is also available for presentations or slideshows for an additional fee.

  • Chef David Allen

  • The Meridian Room can accommodate up to 35 guests, depending on the setup and needs of your event. For gatherings where clear sightlines are important, capacity is limited to 30 guests. Events utilizing A/V equipment can accommodate up to 25 guests to ensure comfortable seating and visibility for everyone.

  • The Meridian Room is located inside Latitude 44° Bistro at 5131 Suite D–F, U.S. Avenue in Plattsburgh, NY.

  • You can view current Meridian Room menu options and pricing here.

  • Yes. Set menu options are available for groups of more than 20 guests.

  • Yes. Food and beverage minimums are $500 Tuesday through Thursday and $750 Friday and Saturday, plus 8% New York State sales tax and 18% gratuity.

  • Yes. The Meridian Room is a separate, enclosed space reserved exclusively for your event, with private restrooms available for your guests.

  • The Meridian Room can be configured in several ways to suit your gathering, from a single shared table to multiple-table layouts.

  • Yes. You’re welcome to arrange live music or other entertainment for your event; any performers or vendors would need to be booked separately.

  • Yes. The Meridian Room offers complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi for your event.

  • A 56-inch Smart TV is available for an additional $250. Guests are responsible for providing any necessary HDMI cables or adapters. Third-party A/V equipment and vendors are also permitted on-site.

  • The Meridian Room features an open layout with clear sightlines throughout, making it well suited for presentations, meetings, and group gatherings.

  • No contract or deposit is required. We do ask that you provide a final guest count at least 24 hours before your event.

  • Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before your event. Cancellations received within 48 hours of the event are subject to a $250 cancellation fee.

  • The Meridian Room will be available one hour before your scheduled event start time.

  • Complimentary self-parking is available in the on-site lot at Latitude 44° Bistro.

  • Yes. A fully itemized final bill will be provided to the designated group contact at the conclusion of the event. Please note that additional copies will not be available after the event, so we recommend keeping the original for your records.
